Rio Tinto mines (possible ecocide and ecology destruction)

Let me show you one of many natural treasures Serbia has.

What you see in picture is the area of beautiful river Jadar, Serbia. River is very near city Loznica and it represents an absolute beauty and peace for the citizens of Loznica and even further.

Now, can you imagine this heaven being destroyed? Well Rio Tinto, mining company, absolutely can. Furthermore they are very determined to do so.

What and who is Rio Tinto?

- Rio Tinto is a mining company founded in far 1873 by Hugh Matheson. Rio Tinto is world's second largest metals and mining corporation producing iron ore, copper, diamonds, gold and uranium while destroying ecology in whole world. Very important thing to know is that company is preparing to deliver a lithium processing plant which will negatively affect river Jadra and it's region.

Also one of terrible things Rio Tinto had done is demolishing a sacred cave in Juukan Gorge, Western Australia, which had evidence of 46,000 years of continual human occupation only because they needed to expand the Brockman 4 mine.

Rio Tinto is big problem in the world of ecology and is being criticized by a lot of ecology groups for a reason.

What is happening in Serbia?

There are two things.

1. The red color of lake near village Gornje Nedeljice due to chemical leak (still not 100% verified)

2. Preparation of delivery of lithium processing plant.

This must stop and only way for stopping companies like Rio Tinto is getting together and spreading awareness to each other and further.
